A note from Glenn & Kristyn:

We ran the Anime site at About.com from December 1999 until April, 2001, when 86 sites were cut from the network.

We have been involved with the anime conventions for the past 9 years and collectors of anime for 16 years. Glenn has been the Dealers Liaison and Kristyn the Registration Head for many conventions, most recently Nan
Desu Kan. Our association with conventions has given us a unique perspective on the anime industry, from the artists and producers to the fans that support it and all of the great people in between.

The majority of sites on the web are written by fans for fans and are not geared for folks just getting interested in anime. On our site, we will try to explain those aspects that may be unfamiliar to you and give you a good understanding of what this anime craze is all about.
