A note from Andrey:

I joined About when it was Mining Co., just a handful of Guides from across the globe who wanted to share their knowledge and expertise in whatever they loved most. For a few years, since 1997 until April 2001, I was running first Moscow for Visitors (GoMoscow), then Russia for Visitors (GoRussia).

Born in Moscow and living for 47 years in Russia I love the country and am ready to share this attitude and my knowledge with those who are interested in this distant but wonderful land. For almost 10 years I have been involved in Russian and international Internet projects and as a result of this professional activity got to know Russian Net and Russia-related Web resources pretty well. Below you will find a link to my pet project about Moscow that I've been running since 1995 - and it's still alive and updated on a regular basis. There are hundreds of images of Russia there. Welcome and enjoy!
