Jan. 9, 2000: MedEra Life Science has changed its name to MedBroadcast Corporation and its symbol from MER to MDB. We've added Eiger Technologies, Image Power, MedcomSoft.com, Mosaic Group, SAMsports.com, Softkey Software, and Valu-Net to the stocks reviewed for our Movers & Shakers Report.
Jan. 16, 2000: We added Brocker Technology Group, Cognos Inc. and Seagram's to our list bringing the total number tracked to 87.
Jan. 22, 2000: We added Descartes Systems Group to our list and moved Rocca Resources and El Grande.com to the list from our Penny Stock List.
Jan. 30, 2000: Six stocks added to our master list. These include three moved from the Penny Stock Lis - Dion Entertainment, Global Investment.com and mBase.com as well as three new ones - Brandera.com (formerly Warp 10 Technologies), Unique Broadband Systems, and WSI Interactive which has not quite been trading over a dollar a share for three weeks, but will have been by next week.
Feb. 5, 2000: We added Exclamation Inc. (formerly Sports Technology Group), Onex Corporation, and MDSI Mobile Data Solutions to our list and moved 7 stocks - Aadco Industries, Earthramp.com, Electric Mail, Fedora Industries, LGO Net.com, SCS Solars Computing and wwbroadcast.com - to the list from our Penny Stock List.
Feb. 13, 2000: Added Equisure Financial Network, TCEnet Inc., RDM Corporation, 724 Solutions Inc., Applied Terravision and Netgraphe Corporation to our list. Moved Patchgear.com from the Penny list to this list after trading over a dollar for three weeks. El Grande.com no longer trades on a Canadian exchange and has been moved to the Yankee List.
Feb. 20, 2000: We moved two stocks - Axion Communications and eStation.com - to the list from our Penny Stock List and added Tecsys Inc., Digital Cybernet, Nuvo Network Management, Pinetree Capital and Cars4U.com to the list. The starting price for Digital Cybernet is as of Jan. 17th, its first trading day.
Feb. 27, 2000: We moved four stocks to this list from our Penny Stock List after trading above a dollar a share for three consecutive weeks. They are Clickhouse.com, Galaxy Online, Onsat.net, and Peaksoft Multinet. We also added Meridex Network Corporation. And Fedora Industries has changed its name to Airbomb.com Marketing and its symbol from FED to AIR. The Dec. 31 price for Shaw Communications has been changed to reflect a Feb. 15th 2-for-1 stock split.
Mar. 5, 2000: We added the following to our list from the Penny Stock List: Cinema Internet Networks, Dot Com Technologies, Demand Ventures, itemus Inc., Las Vegas from Home.com, Nexttrip.com, Totally Hip Software, and Technovision Systems. Also added Bidcrawler.com (formerly Kolyma Goldfields), NSI Communications, Sierra Systems Group and Intrinsyc Software Inc. to our list.
Mar. 12, 2000: Moved Active Assets & Associates and Realm Group to this list from the Penny Stock List and also added electroBusiness.com and Kasten Chase. Electrobusiness started trading Mar. 2 and the initial price in the Start column is for that date's closing price.
Mar. 19, 2000: Moved Astaware, Fifty Plus Net and Iwave.com to this list from the Penny Stock List and also added Dynasty Components, Datawest Solutions, Kazakhstan Minerals, Mobile Computing Corporation, Moss Resources, OA Group, Points North Digital Technologies, Raystar Enterprises, Stratos Global Corporation, Telesystems International Wireless, and Westaim Corporation. The intial price shown for Datawest Solutions is the closing price on its first day of trading - Feb. 22, 2000.
Apr. 2, 2000: We moved five stocks to this list from the Penny Stock List after trading over a dollar a share for three weeks. They are e-Phoria, Greystar Resources, NetSeers, Net-Quote.com and Photochannel Networks. Additionally, Rocca Resouces has changed its name to Siegesoft Internet Solutions and its symbol to SIS. The Star price for Net-Quote at January 1 is estimated at $0.20 from the stock chart. It was extremely thinly traded and it is hard to tell for sure.
Apr. 22, 2000: The recent market turmoil has sent several of the stocks charted here below a dollar a share. After trading below that level for three consecutive weeks, they are moved to our Internet Penny Stock List. This week we are moving Clickhouse.com, Iwav.com, Kazhakstan Minerals, Megawheels.com, Nexttrip.com and Valu-Net back to the penny list. We also added three new stocks to our list - Homeprojects.com, Peachtree Network, and 360nteworks Inc.
Apr. 29, 2000: Added Entrepelx Technology to our list with an initial price of $3.80, the closing price on Mar. 21, its first day of trading. Also added BookForTravel.com, formerly Mosaic Travel & Tours. And CanAlaska Ventures was added to the list from the Penny Stock List. The following moved to the Penny Stock List after trading under a dollar for three consecutive weeks: Dion Entertainment, Astaware, Airbomb.com, Bidcrawler.com, Fifty-Plus Net, e-Station, Global Investment.com, gearunlimited, Net Seers, Siegesoft, T&E Theatre.com, and Totally Hip Software.
May 7, 2000: BCE starting price and previous week price adjusted to account for the split off of Nortel shares by subtracting the value of .78 of a Nortel share at the time from the BCE price at the time. Nortel shares adjusted for 2-1 stock split. CarsForU.com formerly trading on the CDN as KARR is now trading on the TSE as CFU. SAMsports.com was moved to the Penny Stock List.
May 14, 2000: Itemus Inc. has changed its trading symbol from VEN to ITM on the TSE.
May 20, 2000: Telus has changed its trading symbol to T on the TSE. CanAlaska Ventures, Dot-Com Technologies, electrobusiness.com, Patchgear.com, Peaksoft Multinet, Raystar Enterprises, Timebeat.com, and wwBroadcast.net all traded under a dollar a share for three weeks running and will be moved to the Penny Stock List.
May 28, 2000: We added two new stocks to the list, one we overlooked before - Zi Corporation, and one moved up from our Penny Stock List - Wavetech Networks. We moved the following to the Penny Stock List after trading under a dollar for three weeks: Cars4U.com, Greystar Resources, Net-Quote.com and Uniglobe Travel Online.
June 4, 2000: Moss Resources was de-listed and dropped from our list. Digital Processing Systems (DPS - TSE) was added.
June 11, 2000: Informission Inc. has changed its name to nurun Inc., but for now, continues with the same stock symbol -IFN. Book4Travel.com has moved to the Penny Stock List after trading under a dollar for three consecutive weeks.
June 18, 2000: Demand Ventures was moved to our Penny Stock List after trading under a dollar for three consecutive weeks.
June 25, 2000: Substantial changes made as we revised the list to follow technology stocks in general reather than just Internet related stocks. We discontinued following any stock trading under $2 a share and created a new Internet stock list for the stocks removed as a result. The we added in bio-tech and other technology stocks to the mix.
