Updates:
June 19, 1999 - Launched the Yankee Index with five stocks - Cornucopia Resources, Entrust Technologies, Starnet Communications, Stockgroup.com, and Topclick International. I could not find an earlier price for Stockgroup under its previous name and am listing the start date as the first closing price under the SWEB symbol.
June 26, 1999 - Global Media and Softnet Industries added to list.
July 3, 1999: Globalnetcare Inc. and Planet411.Com added to list. Both were launched this year and the initial price listed is the closing price on the first day of trading.
July 10, 1999: Online Production Services and Promark Software added. Promark is simultaneously a candidate for the Metamorphosis Index and would have been placed there if it had not recently delisted from the VSE. The software maker is acquiring horse enthusiast website clipclop.com and will soon change its name and symbol.
July 18, 1999: Added Innofone.com and Net Nation to our list. Initial price for Innofone is the closing price on the first day trading under that name. Innofone traded formerly as APC Telecommunications under the symbol APCI on the OTC BB. Intitial price for Net nation is the closing price on the first day of trading.
August 7, 1999: Added Bingo.com to the list bringing our total to 14 stocks. Its initial price is the closing price on first day of trading. Innofone changed its stock symbol from INNF to INNFE on Aug. 3 - don't ask why cuz I don't know! Softnet Industries (SFNT) changed both its corporate name and symbol to I Crystal Inc. and ICRS respectively on Aug. 3.
Sept. 5, 1999: Promark Software has changed its name to clipclop.com Enterprises and its stock symbol from PRMKF to CLOPF.
Sept. 12, 1999: As noted above, Innofone changed its symbol from INNF to INNFE on Aug. 3. This was done by the OTC BB in conjunction with a thirty day notice to comply with required filings. On Sept. 2, the company was delisted. I'm taking it off the Yankee Index for now.
Sept. 18, 1999: Innofone got relisted on the OTC after completing filing and is now re-instated on our index. But two other stocks on our list, NetNation and Planet411.com, have both been given notice to complete proper filings by the exchange and their stock symbols have both had an E added accordingly.
Oct. 3, 1999: Globalnetcare had an E appended to its stock symbol to denote failure to properly file reports with the OTC BB. It has thirty days to comply or be de-listed.
