| Antrim Energy Inc. was
formed on Sept. 29, 1999 by the amalgamation of Antrim
International Inc. and Netherfield Energy Corporation.
Shares started trading on Oct. 12, 1999. The Calgary, Alberta based company is active in international oil and gas exploration and production. Its efforts span North and South America, Africa, Europe and Australasia. With wells already producing in Canada, Argentina and Czechoslovakia, the company made a major oil discovery in the Taranaki Basin of New Zealand's North Island in December 1999. Known as the Rimu find, the primary licensee is Swift Energy New Zealand Ltd.. Antrim owns a 5% interest as does Marabella Enterprises of Australia. The first well, Rimu A-1, tested at rates up to 1525 barrels of crude oil and 4.8 million cubic feet of natural gas a day. On Sept. 5, 2000, the company announced that the Rimu B-1 appraisal well had been completed and cased for testing. Full scale production is expected to commence in the first quarter of 2001. Antrim Energy also has exploration interests in Northern Ireland and Tunisia. It sold its Canadian wells in March 2000 to finance further development of its interests in Argentina. The company reported revenue growth of 611% for the first six months of 2000 to June 30th. Income was $0.02 a share, up from a loss of $0.05 for the same period in 1999. The company is debt free.
