The company's active exploration program saw five wells drilled in the quarter ended Dec. 31, 2000. Four holes showed positive results with the fifth a dry hole. One of the positive holes was significant new natural gas pool discovery at Balsam, Alberta. It adds significant reserves and production capabilities to the company's holdings.
