In early April 2000, Darwin and Cinema Internet Networks announced a contract to indstall Internet access for eight major Vancouver area hotels including five Executive Inns. Also in early April, the company was certified as an Installation and Service Partner for Georgia based Elastic Networks. The company is actively seeking an alliance with Sprint Canada. Another venture of CinemaWorks is Escrow Express®. This service allows for Internet-based business transactions where the buyers and sellers want to remain anonymous. CinemaWorks also remains active in its former business, providing Pay-per-View movies for the hotel industry. It is one of a small number of companies licensing "hotel window" movies directly from major Hollywood studios.
