Diversinet specializes in offering client/server
security software based on Public-Key Infrastructure
(PKI). Their products are specifically designed to
perform optimally for wireless and other non-PC
environments, such as cable television and smart cards. In November 1999, Digital Signature Trust (DST), the first licensed certification authority (CA) in the U.S., extended their existing CA infrastructure to provide CA services for wireless e-commerce applications using Diversinets PASSport™ security products. Together they forged an agreement to provide security services to Research in Motion's wireless pagers. In February the company demonstrated its wireless technology at the Wireless 2000 conference in New Orleans. It also announced the extension of its Software Development Kit to the Linux and Unix platforms. Diversinet recently concluded a major agreement with the Swedish AU-System, extending Diversinet's reach to Europe. And Thomson Financial Corporation has added Diversinet's technology to its FIRST CALL Notes(TM), allowing institutional clients to access morning meeting notes and intra-day research using wireless devices. The company's First Quarter results for the Year 2000 are to be released after market closing on March 20th. Shares Outstanding: 20,280,528
