Guardian Capital owns the Guardian Group of Mutual Funds, one of Canada's oldest mutual fund companies with a predecessor company founded in 1962. The company has over $2 billion in assets under management with a full line of 31 funds.
The funds are distributed in three fund families - the Guardian Funds, the Alexandria Funds and the Centurion Funds. Each takes a different approach to investing. The Centurion Funds take a value investing approach. The Alexandria Funds are growth oriented. And the Guardian Funds take a blend approach, also known as growth at a reasonable price.
Guardian Capital Group also has a investment management subsidiary, Guardian Capital Inc., which has over $8 billion under management.
