| For over 25 years,
Kasten Chase has been engaged in providing data
communications solutions for companies around the world.
With the emergence of the Internet and Intranets, the
company has kept pace, focusing on IP connectivity,
network management, wireless data solutions, and
increasingly, in security. Their RASP (Remote Access Security Program) Secure Access protocol was jointly developed with and tested by the U.S. National Security Agency and was approved in June of 2000 for securing government classified information. In the wireless arena, their Springboard Wireless division has developed RailPath™, a communications-based train control system which has undergone trials on the New York City Transit system. And their VersaPath division provides web-to-host remote access for business, including support for Citrix® thin clients. Services offered include KastenNet, a low-cost financial services portal for the brokerage community. In June 2000, the company announced a strategic partnership with the giant French coimmunications company, Alcatel. Kasten Chase will market Alacatel's Secure Virual Private Network (VPN) to U.S. government agencies and departments. Future development sees the possibility of combining VPN and Kasten Chase's RASP Secure Access. Despite these impressive credentials, revenues for the quarter ending March 31, 2000 declined 31.5%, although agressive cost cutting reduced operating losses from $0.06 a share to $0.05. Shares Outstanding: 40,533,549
